We want to be a home to motorsports enthusiasts who have interests similar to our own - affordable vintage racing, Solo and track day events.   We feature new and ever-changing photos, interesting projects and links to tracks and clubs.  The Lozuki project is shaping up to be a fun and technically challenging one.  The results ought to be a real treat.

Check out the Midwest track day event calendar compiled by veteran driving instructor Karl Haug.  We're open to your ideas, just Contact Us by email to give us your comments or to send us your car ad.

Tom's garage actually exists, in the lower level of Tom's house.  Tom is into cars that go fast and look and sound great.  He usually has at least two projects going on at once.  He also has a cool collection of old racing posters and other automotive items, including a huge PORSCHE sign from a closed dealership.

We live in Northern Michigan and frequent tracks throughout the Midwest.  The web page background is a shot that John took at the Memorial Day 2002 Alfa Club event at Grattan.  Exiting the photo is Tom's Super 7 ahead (of course) of a Corvette.  Our Tom's Garage logo is based on the same image.
Welcome to Tom's Garage, where we take living the dream very seriously.  That is, the dream of driving a fast car, or one that's as fast as you can afford, on a beautiful summer day (or on a hellaciously freezing winter day if you're an ice racer) with friends who enjoy doing the same.  Tom's Garage is the brainchild of Tom Pixley (it's his garage) and John DeSpelder.

The Lotus Super Seven recently departed the garage for its new home in Mexico City.  Seems that they enjoy vintage racing as much in Mexico as we do here in the states.  Tom's Garage is currently filled with an FF Lola, soon to become the
Lozuki Spyder
, and two FSVs.  Tom's NSX is spending the winter at a relative's garage because there's no room left.  And the new 1930's vintage South Bend lathe will come in handy for making all sort of little gubbins. Tom likes nothing more than to build projects! Please check back for more updates soon.
Tom's Garage        About Us
Tom and John are long-time buddies and car nuts.  One night over a few glasses of local red wine we decided that Tom's garage is too good to keep under wraps, so we decided to do something about it.
